We wake up every blessed day feeling all refreshed, stretch our bodies, yawn loudly, shower and just move to our various places of interest or work.
Some also work from home but the fact is at least your movements are not being restricted by anyone and we should be more grateful for this opportunity.
Sitting in a public bus on my way home from the island, i saw a big green bus, it looked like a pickup van but this one is way bigger and officers were on the front seat, at the side of the big pick up van, a man struck out his hands pleading to the passengers in my bus screaming "Help your neighbors" repeatedly.
There were also some people in the pick up van who followed suit and some stood oblivious of whatever that was going on around them, it was also evident that they were being bundled based on crimes they committed and innocent chaps could also be present.
I didn't know what gave me the courage to signal to an officer who was smiling at me and asked him why they were handcuffed, the face full of smiles turned to fury as he looked at me and pointed to the congested area of the bus signaling i will join them if I don't mind my business.
I just looked away and pondered on how lucky we are, the people who are free don't even know what they have and some neglect or misuse this chance.
Sincerely, I have always nursed the desire to go to the prison, to just see how it looks like, I don't mean being behind bars just a visit. I mean i always wanted to know and understand how life was for them over there not until I heard a gruesome experience from my uncle..his story made me dread that place he explained that that was the fastest place to get the Ebola infection, during the Ebola reign.
They were being jampacked together and were he stayed overnight was like a living hell, he also narrated how he was wrongly accused and how it got sorted out the next morning.
I believe his case was better since he had people to fight for him, what about those who have no one to vouch for them,to bail them or even cater for them and they end up rotting in jail.

We are just so lucky!!
We just have to cherish our freedom dearly!!
Most people wish to be like you.
