Episode 2 (Fiction) : The Trial

"Are you deaf?, why are you still standing there?" Mr Gbenga asked.

Tayo walked to the front of the class bowing down his head.

"It seems you missed my test, whats your name and registration number?" Mr Gbenga let out a mischievous smile.

"Sir please sir" Tayo pleaded.

"Will you stop babbling and answer my question" Mr Gbenga said.

"Ok sir..My name is Taiwo Badmus and my registration number is 202" Tayo said with a pleading tone.

I see you are of one those bad boys who disturb in my class. You will hear from me soon" Mr Gbenga said and left the class, with students test papers, few students followed him behind pleading for their papers to be collected.

All fell on deaf ears as he walked briskly to the office, tearing scripts of students who still begged for submission.

Whoever did not know the wrath of Mr Gbenga was still a learner as his trap was not an easy feat at all.

Tayo still stood sober as noise filled the lecture room.

His mind was not even on the lecturer's threat but on the test he missed due to his laziness. He cursed himself and regretted not going to school early with Segun.

"Hey Oga, why you stand like person wey see ghost?" Segun asked as he saw Tayo lost in thoughts.

"Mr Gbenga don catch me and i miss im test, na die be this one this early Monday morning" Tayo said.

"Hahahaha...." Segun laughed hard.
