Business tip/nuggets

Most people run their businesses online and complain of not having enough customers or people that buy their product.
There is no magic in why that is not possible..
You don't expect a writer/author to have a truck load list of friends or followers who are musicians, and you expect them to patronise you??
How possible is that? Most of them won't buy or even read it.
A lady i worked with recently complained of customers not buying her clothes online. She suggested for her friend to advertise on her social media platform, her friend wore the cloth and posted it and it resulted to many orders popping in.
You can't be running a fashion business or sell clothes online and your friends/followers list is filled with people who are not even fashion conscious. How can you sell?
You sell human hair.. and you have lots of friends who are team natural hair or team low cut. Who your human hair EPP?
The simple thing is in knowing your target audience and providing what they want. That is the only way your business will boom.

Your social media handle can sell you and show people what you do, don't just post pictures and run away.
Make your money too.
And also, sales and customers come gradually, just because you upload a picture of your product and people don't rush to your direct message doesn't mean you have failed.
Brand your business by getting a good phone for clear pictures, being friends with potential customers and learning the act of packaging.
Start posting and mingling with people who will patronize you, support you and also pray for you.
When you blow, remember me!😂

Series: OROBO 1

"Oga where you dey go?" I asked the danfo driver as i jumped in the empty bus.
"Wetin dey worry you? why you dey ask me? You no see conductor outside to ask. No ask me stupid question again"
I was enraged, i looked angrily at him and hurled insults too. I got down from the bus and we exchanged more and more insults while he waited for passengers.
"See as you be sef, who want make you even enter my motor. you go just consume all the space. Overload" The driver shouted.
I was hurt, i hated it when people were quick to pick on my weight when arguing with them. His statement got me so frustrated coupled with having to wear my old clothes earlier in the day and it didn't fit.
I felt terrible and resolved to start a work out. Deep down, i was determined and i wish it would stay that long.
I finally boarded another bus and headed to my aunt's shop, still thinking of the incident earlier, i vowed within myself to restrain from snacks and soft drinks.
"Ahh, welcome! I am so happy to see you. You have added o, really added" My aunt said and looked at me from head to toe, gesturing for me to turn around.
I did, smiling foolishly.
"Emeka, come and buy pizza and malt for Amaka"
"Aunty, i am fine o, Thank you"
"Thats impossible, you should have something to eat here with me"

I gave up after arguing and minutes later, pizza and malt were right in front of me. I thought to myself that i would be fine with just this one, at least the one last time.
I ate to my fill and gisted with my aunt.
"Amaka, this your weight is becoming alarming o. I doubt you will reduce this time. You will be like this forever"
"Aunty! please dont scare me, i will start watching my weight and will definitely reduce"
"I dont think so" She said, with the yinmu sign.

I was tired of the conversation and made to leave.

My weight has also been the talk of the family, friends and enemies, sometimes i wish i could look like Kim Kardashian and get rid of the excess fat but it never yielded positive results.
I lacked self control/discipline and i knew it.

I baded Aunty farewell and headed to my apartment to rest for the day.
It was late and night and the cravings were endless, i got up from the bed and made Eba with my Egusi soup in the freezer.
There was no point starving myself, i needed food. I love food and can't stop soon.

If you love this story, please leave a comment for continuation.

Queen of Katwe

Its been a while i had to watch a movie and i stumbled on this one.

It was worth it.
This story teaches a lot and shows how focus and perseverance can change one's story, it inspires and teaches you that failure should never be a barrier but rather a stepping stone to progress.

I learned lessons and would love you to also watch and learn too.

Have you ever been wrongly accused before?

As common as this, it hurts, especially when its coming from someone you never expected it from.

I was at the market today when the heavy rain started, i was drenched even with my umbrella, swimming the dirty water with my legs was not healthy but was the only way out. I had to pull off my slippers, and continued my journey in the water.

"Chioma" A woman screamed my name. I turned to look back and it was my neighbor, my friends mother. She has a shop at the market where she sells plantain and when she called out my name, i turned back to wave at her smiling.

I continued the walk and heard a woman shouting, so i stopped.
"I know say na you send this rain, so i no go sell market, but my God go fight for me" She was shouting and i noticed it was my friends mother she was talking to.

I smiled dismissing it as their usual market women joke not until my friends mother told me that the woman was not joking and she is abnormal.
"Ah, you be winch, wetin you tell this sister? say i dey abnormal. Na you and your entire generations dey abnormal" the woman rained insults on my neighbor and i was marveled.
"She dey evil o. Run for your life" The woman signaled to me.
"She is my mother, so shut up" I angrily fired back at her.

My neighbor was surprised on how i stood up for her, but that was the right thing to do. I got to notice how people can even badmouth you in your presence not minding the consequences. If it was someone else who doesn't know my neighbor, they would obviously believe the woman utterances.

Why do people act love to smear people's name? i found out that they both sold the same thing and it was out of sheer jealousy that made her try to pick up a fight with her.

You will just be on your own, but trouble will come and look for you.
There should be no hate among us, We ARE ONE.

5 things to do when accepting a Facebook friend request

Ever since the inception of Facebook, people sign up for different reasons in a bid to socialize better. You can also get connected with old friends and get to know new people through this medium. Friend lists on Facebook should be naturally free from perverts, scammers and hoodlums and in making this feasible, you need to be careful on the kind of friend requests that you accept. Accepting friend requests should require your time and concentration, and using these 5 steps listed below can help in reducing fake accounts, perverts or scammers on your list:
1.    Account creation:
For every Facebook account, the year any user signs up, it is been registered and made known. When accepting a new friend request, checking the year a user joined can also help in determining if he/she is operating a fake account. Most fake accounts are mostly new accounts, so it’s easier to detect.

2.    Recent posts:
Scrolling through the person’s timeline gives you a little feel of such individual. Is he a sex freak? Is he vulgar? Is he professional? Is he a soccer fan? Most people tend to reveal more about themselves on their Facebook post and you need to take advantage of this channel. If there are no recent posts, there are two things involved: It could be a fake account, it could be an introvert and it could be ages they logged in. If it seems like it’s been a long time they have been online, go through their old posts and reading their biography can give you a cue of the kind of person they are.
3.    Location:
This is so unpredictable; people keep lying about this just to belong. I know of a guy who is based in Lagos but his profile on Facebook says United Kingdom, you can imagine how misleading this is. What I do most times is to check pictures of such individual and notice their background. I am sure most people won’t find this as a bright idea because not everyone loves snapping photos at outdoor areas. In case, you have a suggestion on this, please make it known through the comment box.

4.    Relationship with people:
Most people tend to reply on comments made on their posts than replying inbox messages. Reading their comments or rapport being made with their friends in the comment box is also a good way of knowing the kind of person they are. How well they relate with their friends, how fast they reply and how they create a mutual relationship with them.
5.    Pictures and Videos:
This is more like a number 1 checkout. In this era of smartphones, it is really ridiculous when you see a friend request with no profile picture. Sometimes, you get to click on the profile and check previous mobile uploads of an individual if you have the time. If none is found, it is safe to disregard such friend request and move on to the others.

Reasons you need to know Mathematics; You can't run away from it

Mathematics is everywhere you go like MTN!

While growing up, i always heard that no matter how fast i run away from Mathematics, i would still face it in the future. My hatred for mathematics is not something i can even describe well. I dread the subject so much and i always felt that i could never ever make good grades in them.

I guess that's where the problem lies, when you accept negative thought about something, scaling through will be difficult.

I had always wanted to be a Science student but I couldn't cope with the Science subjects and maneuvered my way to the Arts class forgetting that no matter what class you go to, Mathematics will always wait for you. It wasn't even easy and the high school i attended, i would skip Maths classes to hang around.

I experienced a situation recently at a Job interview and i felt like i could just turn back the hands of time and listen more attentively when the opportunity placed itself. At the Interview after the written test; during the one on one section with the Human Resources Manager, he tore out a piece of paper and told me to write in words and figures: One million, One thousand and one kobo.

I stared blankly at the paper pondering on where to start from, i was clueless. i remember vividly that millions had 6 zeros, i tried to write it the way i understood. He collected the paper from me and shook his head, i felt so bad and dumb. I was not able to write the words in figures, i felt my whole life in Primary and Secondary school was a waste.

How i felt that moment was so terrible, i got to accept the fact that no matter how fast you run, you will still face Maths in the future. I drafted 3 important reasons you need to learn and study Mathematics. They include:

1. Mathematics is Everywhere: In our day to day activities, calculations are inevitable and has served as a huge function in our finance and life in general. At the restaurant, grocery store, home and lot others, Maths is essential and very important. If you are not even knowledgeable enough, you are going to lose money and other valuable assets in the process. It keeps you in check and makes you aware of your expenses.

2. Job opportunities : Like i narrated earlier, some companies will give you tests based on your mathematical skills. Being good at the subject will be advantageous for you if you face such situations.

3. High confidence level: You know what kills people the most? its when they lack that confidence to say a word stand for that word.

Most people can be asked a question which they can answer correctly, but because they lack the confidence to speak out, they end up failing the questions. Being knowledgeable in Mathematics makes you confident in your answer.

I can't believe i wrote something like this on Mathematics but experience taught me so. Don't wait for your own experience... Learn it while you can!

NO KNOWLEDGE IS A WASTE!

Be proud of what you do

People engage in so many things for fun, profit, passion and a lot other good reasons. Sometimes, their passion for something turns out to create revenue for them. They can even learn new skills and hone it well.

As long as you don't engage in dubious means to make money, be proud of what you do.
I don't get it now when people get ashamed of what they do, they don't even inform their neighbors or friends about what they engage in with the excuse of "People will laugh at me". Who are those people that will laugh?

Its really encouraging when you see your colleagues and friends pose with their products, advertise their products to the world and you are ashamed of doing the same. Those people you feel will laugh at you, who told you they care or they won't be willing to buy or patronize the goods or services you offer.

In 2013, after my Jamb failure i resolved to myself that sulking at home won't work so i had to learn a skill. I learned how to make Ankara bags and Suede bags too. My bags were good because i was creative enough to make new designs. But you know what lacked in my business? I was shy, extremely shy to post my work online or even tell people what i do. I hardly even informed my friends that i produce handbags for sale. I had fears like, what would they say? ohh, they will laugh hard at me, what if they don't like it and so many other negative thoughts.

My sales were bad, i remember vividly when i got admission, i went home on vacation, borrowed some money, produced bags and carried them to church for sale. It was a Jerusalem day(Catholics will understand better), and it was announced that you could advertise what you do on that day. After battling with if i will make sales, i summoned up courage to go with positive thoughts. I stood from morning till evening with my bags on display and so single sale.

People would just come to say "Ha! Sister you try o, e fine o, weldone o" Shey na welldone i won chop?. It was late in the evening, i resolved to pack and go home when a young lady came to my stand, picked up a red purse and said "Don't you have a blue color?". I was already pissed off with the wasted efforts and managed to say, "I don't have, its only the red color" i said. "Ok, please can you produce a blue colour? i will deposit some money if you can" she said and dropped the red purse on my table. My face lit up at the mention of money, "No problem ma".
Even though, i carried my load of bags for sale home, i was a bit glad that at least i made a sale that day. I made that sale because i left my comfort zone, i went out to show people. I can't make that sale in my room, its not possible. Now, you don't even have to just go out, you can post online. That easy! and you are still shy or ashamed, then you are obviously not hungry.

So, how can you thrive in a business without advertising your own self and what you do even in the midst of other competitors. You cant succeed if you are ashamed to show or tell the world what you do for a living. Let them know. Introduce yourself and attach what you do, For example when you meet a new person and you exchange names, begin with this, "My name is Doris, I am a caterer, tailor, hairstylist or makeup artist or bead maker or cobbler or anything you do" . You have no idea if they need your services at that moment.

If you are still ashamed and hiding what you do, as long as it is legal. Please come out of your shell and tell the world! The world is waiting for you!

Happy Weekend!

5 reasons she is ignoring your messages on social media

The craze for DM sliding has increased by the day especially as success stories seem to emerge from people and celebrities like that of Adesua and Banky W, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Redvigor, Uti Nwachukwu and some others.

It is obvious the message sent to their counterparts and the first impression they gave to each other will also determine the success of the relationship. Most guys tend to neglect basic and simple things when trying to get a girl’s attention and they end up being ignored in the process. It is very true that ladies survey and scan your images and page before they reply your messages, so when you don’t meet their criteria they are bound to ignore you.

No one likes to be ignored or taken for granted, we want to be treated specially, therefore below are 5 reasons she could be possibly ignoring your messages. If you are guilty of any of them, then try to stop.

1. Too much editing: I really don’t get the part where you click on a young man’s photos and you see clipart’s dangling up and down. Sincerely it’s an eyesore; you shouldn’t overuse and abuse the things that were created to enhance the picture. If you don’t know how to use filters and clipart, keep way from it rather than editing your picture and looking like a scarecrow at the end of the day.

2. Money poses: As annoying as this is, it is so common even amongst celebrities. What are you showing us? Your money? Your wealth? It is not necessary at all; instead you only attract the wrong kind of girls to you and those are girls that are only after your money, and when leaves you heartbroken, you will open your mouth to say “All girls are the same”. Keep your money to yourself and stop uploading it on social media. It is a turn down for most ladies.

3. Unnecessary Abbreviations: Imagine a sentence you are meant to write as “My day was great and yours?” and you write “mi dae woz grt and urs”. Haba! Relax... Most ladies would just see such message and dismiss you as being unserious and immature. It won’t take you the whole day to write your sentences in full. Some would even use “xoon” instead of “Soon”. I was guilty of this but I had to learn that it looks much more professional and mature when you write correct sentences.

4. Early profession of love: How can you add up or follow a lady on social media and the first message or first conversation you had with her, you send her a message professing your love for her. Just like that, is love that easy! No matter, how long you have been secretly admiring her, try to resist telling her how much you love her too soon. Take your time at least. Girls get more attracted to guys who don’t ask them out or profess their love too early. They do, because they begin to wonder if you truly like them or not.

5. Fake long names: This one pisses me off. Why in God’s name will a mother give her child a name as ‘Thatdopepussyniggarstar sugarsexyboy’ like seriously!
A guy would just conjure a name and start bearing and later you will wonder why things are not working fine. How will it work fine when you neglect the original name your parents gave you. If a name like ‘Chukwuka Amos’ sends a message, there is no way a mature lady will ignore his message to reply ‘Thatdopepussyniggar….’.

These are simple everyday tips guys need to bear in mind so she won’t make you feel like you are unworthy of her reply or too ugly.

You can also add your own opinions…

ZIP UP

This commercial no doubt was a popular one while growing up and it was from SFH campaign, advising people to Zip up when there is no condom available for use.

I was very young and did not understand what the advert meant, i remember then i would ask my aunt and she would play deaf and dumb. I had to resign from asking her such and enjoy the advert images and song when it pops on the TV screen.

I learnt while growing up that it was a commercial advert advocating the use of condom. I guess no one is a stranger to what that word means and even underage kids of nowadays know the meaning of this word and it's function.

So i beg to ask this question, Why the unnecessary child bearing and dumping the innocent child at the end?

Why the abortion?

Why the suicide after finding out that you are pregnant?

They say prevention is better than cure and no doubt that this is so true, Even if the condom is not 100% reliable, then quit if you know you cant handle the consequences.

What prompted this post is the story of a 19 year old who delivered a baby and tried to kill the baby but was arrested. she has finally absconded with the child.

Fine!.. after the pressures you scaled through for good 9 months and at the end you dump the baby. This story is even better, there are some who go to the extent of killing the child and dumping.
What do you think awaits such individual on the judgement day?

I am not writing this to condemn anyone but in as much as we cant use a condom or you feel it is not reliable and you are not even ready for a child. QUIT SEX. i promise you wont die. You will only die slowly from the guilt you will suffer if you harm an innocent child.

My First book- FOUR

I don't know if i should say i am too blessed or lucky for this to finally happen but in all i give God the glory! I have learned through this phase in my life that whenever that appropriate time for your manifestations come, God will surely make your dreams come to pass.

In the year 2006 or 2007(not sure of the exact year),

I stood still staring at the students at the front of the assembly ground.

Mr Mike, a teacher in my school singled me out that morning and I felt the ground would open up for me to enter.

I was relieved when it was for a good cause.

He introduced me to the students and showed them a small pamphlet I made with papers and a broom stick. It was my little story books, one was titled "Lovina's birthday" and the other i cant remember now: but i wrote on stories I experienced in my former school.

My assistant graphic designer was Happiness Robert, even though we act like strangers now, you are the real bae.

Mr Mike was impressed with what I wrote and urged the students to give me a standing ovation. I blushed endlessly especially when the hard to please proprietress applauded me too for being a smart kid.

She took my storybooks from me and promised to publish it, case closed since then as it never saw the light of a publisher's home.

I cared less though, but was impressed with the encouragements I received in school.

Ever since then, I have always had this zeal for writing stories, it could be fictional or nonfictional. It gave me some sort of joy and fulfillment.

I had to give it another shot in 2013 when I faced an incident and it remained a manuscript.

So in 2016, I tried again and this time it has come to stay!!😊

My book is out!😊 and those that support me should buy!

Lesson learnt from the Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian saga

When things are all rosy, people fail to use their head. They fall in love and believe it all ends there. It never will. There is more to the luxury, trips and the i love you.
Recently, the news of Rob Kardashian releasing Chyna's picture is all over the internet. But i need to ask a quick question before i continue. Who suffers the shame more?
I know you think it's the woman and you are absolutely correct. The woman is the one to pay for being unwise enough to send nude pics and other demeaning acts she engaged in. No matter how she may claim to get over it or how she may claim that all is well or whatever Rob shared online is false, the internet will always remember it forever.
And what happens to their child or children? They live with that stigma.
Dragging family issues like fights on infidelity and lot others on the internet is definitely not the right stunt to pull, you may feel all good at the moment but what about aftermath? the future?
And sending nudes? like what are you thinking? sending your nude to a guy is an awful act that needs to stop. I wonder what people stand to gain from that, stories have emerged on how people leak each-others nude pictures when quarrels set in and yet most people ignore that lesson.
There is no dignity in seeing a woman's nakedness everywhere. No matter how we try to sugar coat it, it is a big disgrace.
I remember vividly when Donald Trump was campaigning, stories of his wife Melania Trump's nude picture for the cover page of a magazine popped up. Although, that did not deter him from winning, but it just shows that whenever you are climbing that ladder to the top, people would try every means to pull you down. They don't care how they do it or the extreme miles they can take to do it.
Whatever post or pictures that we send or post online will definitely be accounted for.
Shine your eyes!

Keep off from people's relationship palava

I have heard countless times on how people who don't mind their business and poke nose in people's relationships end up being the villain when the couple eventually settle.

The couples might even use you to settle the quarrel while you are there taking sides and being judgemental.

About last week, my friend gisted me about her boyfried who broke up with her, she was really hurt so as the almighty advocator and obonge relationship settler that i am, i ended up calling the nigga asking reasons for the breakup.
The guy made it point blank that he was done with the relationship and there was no going back.
I had to advice my friend to move on as her bobo is no longer interested in the relationship, i referred her to books, songs and motivational videos and quotes to keep going.
It wasn't easy as most-times when i even call she would sound like her whole world had fallen apart, till gradually her voice started brightening up.
I applauded her for getting over him and told lots of stories on how evil guys were, she was playing along. Little did i know that the two had reunited.

How i found out?
I was surfing the internet with her phone one fine evening and a whatsapp message popped in from a number. Her boyfriend's name is George(not real name).. and the name was stored as G.
"You just got a message o? who be G?" i asked innocently
"oh,,its Gina, give me the phone" she hurriedly bounced out of the kitchen.
I was curious immediately and we dragged the phone tirelessly till i suceeded in scrolling up to previous messages and found out that it was her boyfriend.
I was shocked!

I was heartbroken oo.... I handed the phone back to my friend and sat down quietly without uttering a word. She was also confused on how to explain what happened to me.
I guess i was already engrossed with another man's relationship forgetting my boundaries, she finally disclosed how they got back together immediately after the breakup and i just got to know a week later.

I was unaware of what was happening all along, and since then i vowed to stay clear off people's relationship and mind my business.
If you have issues with your man, settle it. Avoid third parties.
And for relationship advisers like me, it is wrong to take sides when couples are not on good terms, learn not to be biased or sentimental in your opinions.

Heaven (Susu's song) - Banky W

I watched this song's video today and i must confess the chemistry between the two is magical, i couldn't help but fantasize and ask God for my Banky W.

The video is bombarded with romantic images of the lovebirds. Banky showers his Susu with lots of appraisals and love that every woman long for.

I have never being this overjoyed for any celebrity relationship like this one.

This is true.

This is magical.

This is love.

This is FOREVER!!!

The heart of men

My heart is so broken. I don't think i have ever seen a sad incident of this kind before in my life.
Is it that most people are born with wickedness, hatred and envy for one other?
To the extent that they can go extra miles to inflict sorrows, torture or any outrageous act on their fellow being.

I feel for this Priscillia the distraught widow, whose husband, Paschal got dragged several poles by Udoh, with his Toyota Camry before he finally stopped after he was satisfied with his evil deed.

The evil of just one man has caused heartaches to a family and this incident will linger on.

According to Sunday Sun, the deceased, who hailed from Eziudo Mbaise, Imo State, was said to have alighted from his vehicle and walked over to meet the driver of the Camry.

Sunday Sun gathered that he placed his hand on the door of the Camry, when Udoh allegedly refused to alight from his own car for them to resolve the matter. Rather, Udoh quickly wound up the glass, trapping Pascal’s hand and then sped off.

The widow narrated:

"After driving off from our home, we passed through Rumukrushi and turned at the Shell gate, before joining the MTN link Road where we saw the car trying to link the Oil Mill road. The Camry hit and dented my husband’s Honda CRV and both of them stopped and my husband alighted from his vehicle and went to meet him. But Udoh refused to alight from his own car. My husband’s hand was still in the door of Udoh’s car and he quickly wound up the glass with my husband’s hand trapped between the glass and the door frame. Then he sped off and dragged him several poles before he stopped."

In the process of dragging the victim, his body hit the hard pavement severally. Satisfied, Udoh stopped the car, came down, opened the door and pulled the near lifeless body of the victim away and attempted to drive off. But luck ran out on him, as he was stopped by eyewitnesses, who stormed the scene and held him. The mob was said to have tortured the suspect and was about to give him jungle justice before he was rescued by policemen from Elelewon police station, where he was being detained as at the time of filing this report.

"Firstly, I rushed my husband to Saint Jude Hospital, Elelewon, Pano Hospital, and later, Saint Martin’s Hospital at Stadium Road. He was later referred to Braithwaite Memorial Hospital (BMH) and later, University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) where he died."

My candid advice to everyone is, it is not everyone you see fully clothed that are humanbeings. Some are beasts of no nation, sadists, terrorists.

We should be very careful, Paschal's story is what can happen to any man  but Udoh Inhuman reaction is devilish and rare.

Was i hurt? I was broken - Toke Makinwa reveals how Maje Ayida scandal cost her N20m deal

Nigerian Vlogger and Author, Toke Makinwa, revealed how she lost a deal after Maje Ayida’s infidelity scandal hit the media, and also losing a potential sponsor who had shown interest in championing her book tour after Maje slammed her with a N100m lawsuit.

The 32 year old TV host shared a post on her Instagram handle to encourage people going through defeating moments in their life.

She has however disclosed hint on her new sponsor “I can’t wait to share who our sponsor for the OnBecominginSA is, they are not just flying me to SA, my entire team is coming to and everything is paid for in full,” she says.

Her post:
  • "When God is involved, it can never be for less. In my life I have seen him come thru so many times I'll be selfish if I kept it to myself. I remember when we started the OnBecoming tour, we approached a number of companies for sponsorship and one particular incident left me sooo broken. We had been talking back and forth and all was looking exciting till the news of the legal suit hit the press. I remember I was in Ghana and the night before OnBecominginGhana was amazing. I woke up in such high spirit till the news filtered the air and then I got that call, our "potential" had pulled out. I read that text over and over again in tears, they pulled out because they didn't want to be thrown in the middle of it all (who can blame them) boy was I hurt, I was broken. I had put so much into this project and prayed so hard yet here I was disappointed, I felt I wasn't good enough, I couldn't pray and then it hit me, this has happened before, I remember when the news of my marriage hit the press I was in the middle of signing a 20million Naira deal, all was good to go till news broke and it seemed like what everyone was talking about. They pulled out. It was bad timing.I remember how I held the toilet bowl all night, I have never felt that kind of pain in my life. I have worked hard, prayed hard and God knows I needed that money. My life had changed overnight, I was trying to hold on to everything and it seemed like everything was working against me but God came thru, he provided much more than that deal and I have never had to look back to think "if only" I had that money, he kept blessing me. In both cases God over compensated me🙏 SA is looking really good 😊, I can't wait to share who our sponsor for the OnBecominginSA is, they are not just flying me to SA, my entire team is coming to and everything is paid for in full. Why do I share this you may ask? Perhaps you woke up this morning feeling defeated, you are about to stop trying, you're so sure your idea sucks and no one will support you, hold on. You are closer than you know,. God has bigger and better plans for you, he knows you've cried all night, he knows what this means to you, he will come thru even better ❤️"

4 possible ways to detect a fake job interview

The rate at which job seekers are being scammed or used by some so called fake employers is indeed alarming and that prompted me to write this.
Based on experience, I got a job interview from JIJI.ng site and it ended up being a scam. I am not saying all jobs on this site are not genuine (my friend got one) am just implying that we all have to be careful as so many things are happening all in the name of job vacancy.

Here, we bring you 4 possible ways to detect a fake job interview based on my research:

       1. No website:

In these present times, how can a real business organisation or company not have a website?

To me, it is strange and gives room for suspicion.

The Job interview that I got which was fake, when i asked the lady in charge; she bluntly said “Our website is currently under notification”.

You can imagine the baseless reason she gave, what sums it all up was the fact that it wasn’t even a genuine job.

So, before you go for that job interview make sure you browse their website to be well informed of the goods or services they provide.

Although some companies or business are genuine but are yet to own a website, but at least source out information first to be on the right side.

        2. No location on Google map:

How is that even possible? You type the location/address for the interview on the map and the location does not even exist, then that is more than a big sign to know that you need to run for your dear life before it is too late.

If you are using an older version, upgrade your map and try again.

        3. Monetary Demands:

This is even after you have fallen prey to the predators. Ensure that you don’t pay to get a job where is that even done?

The fake one i experienced we were asked to pay 10,000 each at the spot either through P.O.S. You can see how desperate they were… we just have to be very careful and don’t pay to anyone for a job.

If you have to pay to get a job, then I sincerely don’t think it is genuine.

SHINE YOUR EYES WELL!

         4. No records at all:

Research, research and research continuously on where you are heading to for the interview.

Fake companies have no records at all and most of them use the excuse of being a NEW COMPANY.

At least, even if you have no idea on the place, venue or goods and services, make thorough research for your own good.
